CAFSEP Delivers Agricultural Equipment to Shirak Communities

CAFSEP Delivers Agricultural Equipment to Shirak Communities

Climate Adaptive Food Security Enhancement Project (CAFSEP), implemented by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), continues to strengthen agricultural resilience and improve food security in Armenia.

As part of the latest support initiative, beneficiaries in the Amasia and Azatan communities of Shirak Region received 13 walk-behind tractors together with relevant agricultural equipment, helping farmers organize agricultural activities more efficiently.

The project provides beneficiaries with various agricultural support packages, including walk-behind tractors, trailers, mowers, plows, and sprayers. Such support contributes to improving the efficiency of agricultural operations, strengthening the capacity of local farms, and promoting agricultural practices that are more resilient to the impacts of climate change.

Representatives of Avenue Consulting Group LLC, as a member of the consortium providing consulting services under the project together with 3R Strategy LLC, participated in the equipment handover event alongside the project implementation team, beneficiaries, representatives of Shirak Regional Administration, and community leaders.

We are pleased to contribute to an initiative that supports stronger rural livelihoods and the development of more resilient and sustainable agriculture in Armenia.
